About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a professional, caring Early Years practitioner to join a wonderful and well established Montessori Nursery in Larnaca setting (Cyprus).
You will be working in a 3-6 years old classroom alongside a Montessori pedagogue, as well as, being part of a truly professional team.
The nursery is located in the centre of Larnaca. They have a passion for the outdoors, including forest/beach school once per week, so a love of being outside is essential.
Knowledge of the Montessori philosophy is key, however, training in the Montessori philosophy and approach will be given.
Working hours are 07.45 – 15.30 (daily following the academic calendar)
Monday to Friday term time.
The position starts in September 2024 / January 2025
Requirements
The applicant will either need a Diploma in Early Years (minimum), Early Years degree, Prodimotiki qualification, or Psychology degree.
There are development opportunities within the role, which could lead to a promotion to Montessori Lead teacher. You must have the ability to work flexibly within a small team; be able to assist in planning and assessment; a willingness to attend further training courses; a positive attitude with an ability to communicate well (verbal and written), and; essential is to offer great care and opportunities to the children.
